Junior win, Senior second at Killarney

“Saturday wasn’t bad — I qualified second for both the Junior and Senior Max races. "I fell back to fourth on the first lap of the Junior race but I fought back and was right on Sebastian Boyd’s back bumper on the last lap. “The second heat was a three-way battle with Seb, Charl Visser and me and I managed to win that one.

“The third Junior race was very tight, but I had an incident with Seb, which Charl took advantage of to pull a gap and I was not able to pass him in the end. “Well done to Charl on his first Junior win -- that was good driving. “I still won the day in Junior Max though and I opened up a few points in the championship table so it was a pretty positive day after all.

“My Senior Max races were good — better than the previous regional — Luke Herring had better pace in the beginning of the races and he pulled away and my kart came on late but I could only live with him in the last few laps. “Well done Luke — we will be back!

Special thanks to my team and supporters as usual — without them I would not be able to race so I really appreciate all the backing. “My next race is the MSA Academy weekend in Zwartkops - that’s my favourite track so I’m super excited — I can’t wait!”
