Lee Thompson Racing is looking forward to a home race Saturday 17 March when the Crous brothers tackle the Motor Mart Volkswagen Challenge races at Zwartkops’ regional season-opening Extreme Festival meeting. Wayne Crous is looking forward to continue in his solid end to 2017 and a good start to the new season aboard his Delco/Toshiba Tech LTR Polo, while Shaun is keen to get to grips with his new Class A Ancro Building Projects Polo after stepping up to Class C this year.

“I can feel the adrenaline through my veins and the race is only a week away,” Wayne admitted. “I am really looking forward to this one - we have spent endless time and effort on the car after the first meeting at Midvaal, so the confidence is there for a good result. “Thanks to Toshiba tech, Ancro, Delway and of course Lee Thompson Racing for the support for this upcoming season.”

“Zwartkops is going to be a great race I would like to thank God for giving us another racing season and my sponsor, Ancro Building Projects for another year of racing,” Shaun explained. “I have moved up from Class C to Class A and I’m still getting used to the power difference between the two classes, but I am getting there. “It is a great privilege to race in the same team as my brother Wayne Crous in car A35 and by God’s love and grace it’s going to be another great season with Lee Thompson racing!”
