Duminy looking forward to Cape Polo Cup
Daniel Duminy heads to Cape Town’s Killarney International Raceway looking for a step up following a troubled past few races aboard his SMD VMR Polo in the Engen Polo Cup. The Ballito youngster endured a frustrating weekend at Zwartkops last time out, but he’s ready to make amends in the Cape.
“I’m very excited to head down to the Mother City again where I will be chasing another good result for my team and me. Zwartkops wasn’t good to us last race but we had a great weekend last time we raced in Cape Town, so hopefully we can get the car to the top three this weekend.
“I’ve also had a few weeks away from the track so I’m recharged and ready to race — special thanks to Vic, Jeandre and the team for all the effort on the car — I’m out to do my best to reward all the guys for all their hard work — bring on Killarney!”
