Jordan Roks MSA Academy

Northcliff, Johannesburg kart racer Jordan North took no hostages when he arrived at Saturday’s Rok Cup MSA Academy races at Vereeniging’s Laserfiche Raceway. South Africa’s 2016 FIA-CIK Academy candidate used his experience in that international class to great effect to come in from the cold and take pole position before reeling off three of the four race wins en route to overall victory first time out.

“The second round of the MSA Academy at Vereeniging went very well,” Jordan conceded. “I was fast throughout Friday practice and I was delighted to put it on pole.  “Then on Saturday I won three of the four heats to take the day overall and score maximum points for the championship.

"I had a small issue in the hard braking zones in the final, but well done to Jason Coetzee on that one. “Overall I’m very happy with the result — mega thanks to Simon and David Feldman, Robert Briggs, Etienne Roos, my dad and all my supporters.” Jordan will imminently confirm exciting developments in his plans for the rest of 2017 — watch this space…
