White ready to scale French F4 podium

South African French Formula 4 Academy driver Stuart White is set on capitalising on his upturn in form following his fine third place Monza last time out and intends to take a step or two up the podium at the tight Pau street circuit for the third round of the series 20-21 May.

“I was delighted and so proud to stand on the Monza podium last time out,” Stuwie admitted. “Especially after the disaster of the opening round when my car suddenly lost pace, but I am now pretty excited about the change of pace between the high speeds of Monza and the twists and turns of the Pau street track.

“That will be something new for me and the objective will be to qualify well and then try keep out of trouble - Pau is notorious for its crashes and pile-ups, so if I can clear the first lap in a good position every time, that’s half the job done. “It’s easier said than done though, but I’m looking forward to the experience and thankful to Fantastic Racing and my team to be able to do what I love.”
