Flat out racing to the Grand Finals

2019 South African Mini Max karting champion Troy Snyman has been in Italy ever since he wrapped up his title at Zwartkops two weeks ago. Now he is focusing on best possible results in the Rok International Finals in Lonato as part of his final preparations for the Rotax Max World Finals over the last week of October.

“We flew to Italy the day after the SA National Rotax Max Finals and I have been flat out training and driving ever since.” Troy explained. “We raced last week and my pace was good, but I had a few issues, so not the best results and this weekend it’s the Autumn Trophy in preparation for the Rok Internationals next week. “I'm looking forward to that because we will be racing against kids my age from all across the world.

“But we are fully focussed on the Rotax Mini Max Grand Finals at Sarno towards the end of October, where as South African champion, I have to beat all the other Mini Max champions from around the world in what is pretty much the Olympics of karting. “It’s been a push keeping up with my home schooling on the road and all the testing and racing, but my mentor Wesleigh Orr and the team have all put so much effort into it and it's now all up to me to reward them.

“But it’s flat out racing for the rest of October and I really can’t wait!”
