Charl, Kyle star at Killarney

Durbanville karting brothers Charl and Kyle Visser enjoyed a great afternoon’s karting on a splendid spring weekend’s seventh round Western Province championship races at the Killarney Kart Track on Saturday. Charl kept his Junior Max championship charge intact with a strong weekend, starting second on the grid before setting the fastest lap in each race, winning the final and ending second overall, while little brother Kyle drove a solid day to end second in Maxterino.

“We had a very good day,” Charl Electric ZKS FA Kart driver Charl reported. “Our engineer Zefrey Ngoben has done a brilliant job and his Zefrey Kart Speed engines have made the difference to allow us to chase for wins, so I was very happy to reward him with that first place in the Final on Saturday. “Now we go to Zwartkops with a fighting chance in the national Junior Final - thanks so much to my dad, Zefrey and everyone who makes it happen.”

Younger brother Kyle was equally thrilled with Zefrey’s efforts on his Charl Electric ZKR Zanardi. “I was struggling a bit with some of the guys who have really fast engines,” Kyle pointed out. “But Zefrey’s hard work has really paid off and I was able to fight all the way and I’m very happy with second on Saturday. "Now for Zwartkops - let’s do this!”
