White ready to deliver karting gold

Bloemfontein kart racer Stuart White plans to top the podium in the 2016 CIK-FIA World Junior Karting Championships at the Sakhir International Kart Circuit in Bahrain 15-19 November - the Grey College Grade 9 student is keen to complete an encouraging pattern that has emerged over recent races...

“I finished second in last year’s Junior Rok International Finals in Italy and this year we ended up third in that event,” Stuart explained. “It would be brilliant to continue the trend and stand on the top step of the podium in the CIK-FIA World Finals in Bahrain. “That’s easier said than done though — we'll be racing against 100 of the world’s best kart racers in Sakhir, but I hope to use my overseas experience to its best advantage.”

White was South Africa’s 2015 CIK Academy candidate - he raced across Europe that year and has extensive World Final experience over several seasons. Stuart will race in Bahrain as part of a four-kart Southern African Junior Team alongside Cape kids Jason Coetzee and Sebastian Boyd and Mozambican lad Karl Pitzer.
