Tiffany Napier may have only been racing karts for one full season, but that does not mean that the British International School Grade 7 lass from Roodepoort is set and ready to take it to the lads, if her progress at last Saturday’s Zwartkops club races are anything to go by, the boys will have quite a bit to think about at the 18 February Northern Regions season opener at the Pretoria kart track.

“It’s a bit frustrating, but I had a second, a third and a fourth at the club meet - I came so close to that first win!” Tiffany explained. “I’m ready for the first Northern Regions race though — I really loved racing my Birel and while Junior Max will be super-competitive this year, I think we are ready for the season to get going properly now.

“Juniors is a good place to race - I’m racing against world and national champions here, so that first win will really be big for me and even better if we can beat all the guys in the first round.”
