Positive results for 6-year old Mostert

Little Luan Mostert (AMV Vervoer Topkart) enjoyed a very positive start to his rookie Cadet karting season at Killarney on Saturday, qualifying an impressive third and delivering third, fourth and fifth places in the three heats on the day.

Luan's results could have been even better were it not for the fuel tank dislodging in race 1, but he was till delighted with the outcome. “I really enjoyed racing today and I am learning more and more every time I race my kart,” the Brackenfell six-year old explained. “I was very happy with the second heat, my lap time was only half a second off the fastest and that’s the closest I have been.”

“Thanks so much to my mom and dad and my grandpa Franco – and to my coach Luke Herring, who is teaching me so much,” the Bastion Primary Grade 1 scholar concluded. “I hope it won’t be too long before I can win in Cadets like Luke did in Senior Max today!”
