Rademeyer all set for favourite track
Fresh from a dominant display at the recent regional races, Blaine Rademeyer is keen to take that winning form into the opening round of the South African Junior Max National kart championship at Vereeniging’s Laserfische Raceway Monday, 20 March. Blaine and his team have been hard at it in preparation and the Jozi youngster is ready to race.
“I had an almost perfect raceday last time out in the regional,” Blaine explained. “It would be good to repeat that at the national, but it won’t be easy, although we have put a great deal of effort into preparing for this weekend and I need to thank my grandfather and my manager Ricky Perdigao for all their help in getting my FA Kart perfect.
“It’s a pity that the recent pre-national meeting was postponed there, especially needing that home track advantage with all the quick kids coming up from the Cape, but I really enjoy Vereeniging and we have put in the miles to prepare, so I’d say we are ready and I just can’t wait to race on Monday.”
