Duminy can’t wait for Senior challenge
Ballito lad Daniel Duminy heads to Vereeniging’s Laserfische Raceway Monday 20 March looking to take no prisoners in the build-up to the opening round of the 2017 South African Senior Max karting championship following a positive build-up over the past few months.
“It’s a big weekend coming up, but I’ve put in hard work, I’ve been good, I’ve been fast and I’m ready to race the best of the best racing drivers in South Africa,” Daniel admitted. Duminy has enjoyed a positive step up to the Senior Max ranks, but he’s under no illusion as to the task at hand versus among the toughest competition in karting.
“It’s definitely going to be tough racing, but I’m looking forward to the challenge and looking to bring it home this weekend — may the best man win! “Special thanks to Ricky Perdigao and my SMD FA Kart team for all the hard work — now its up to me to go do it.”
It will be a busy week for Daniel, who heads straight from Vereeniging on Monday to Cape Town to compete in the opening Engen VW Polo Cup races at Killarney Saturday 25 March. “Bring it on,” Daniel concluded. “I can’t wait to race!”
