Tough iDube prepares Mokoena for Killarney

Paulshof kid Kwanda Mokoena heads for Killarney in Cape Town this Saturday 29 April in search of Junior Max karting glory at the weekend's second round SA Rotax Max National Championship. Mokoena heads for the Cape tempered by a tough putting at the rival SA Mini Rok series at iDube KZN this past weekend.

“I had a very up and down day at the Mini Rok Nationals after a 7th, a second place and a retirement after a really tough day at iDube,” Kwanda admitted. “But I am looking forward to the trip to Killarney in the Junior Max kart this weekend. “It’s my first year in the bigger Max kart and I am quite happy with progress, but I love Killarney and I hope to do well there.

“The problem is that this class is super competitive and there are a few really quick and experienced guys racing there, so the big job is to do as best as we can and learn so we can get right onto their pace soon. “So it will be a fun weekend in beautiful Cape Town and we really cannot wait!”
