Bryanston kart racer Oliver Gunner is keen to put a difficult national race weekend behind him as he heads to Vereeniging’s third round Northern Regions Karting Championships Saturday 13 May. Gunner had good pace in the lead up to Killarney’s race day, but that evaporated when the light went out.

“We had good pace in practice and had an okay qualifying,” Oliver reflected. “But our pace in the races kind of hid away in a corner somewhere! “I am really excited for this weekend though and I am confident to step up my game so I cannot wait to head out the the Vaal for a hard day’s racing.
