Cape Town Junior Max karter Sebastian Boyd heads to Killarney’s fourth WP karting regional 20 May keen to continue his winning ways following a victorious outing last time out. Boyd took the overall win in the last regional race before starting on pole position and winning the opening national race last month.

“I am enjoying a really cool war with Jason Coetzee in the regional Junior Max championship and I’m really looking forward to our next battle this weekend,” Sebastian explained. “I won the last one and I’m just a few points behind in the championship so the objective is to close that gap or even take the championship lead.”

Boyd was delighted with his pace at the national in spite of a technical issue on his kart in the second race. “We were on pole at the national and won a race too, so it’s just a matter of carrying on where we left off, so bring it on!”
