Lindenberg Racing returns to Historic Tour duty at the Red Star Raceway Saturday 3 June following the team’s successful recent attack of the Jaguar Simola Knysna Hillclimb and all three team members keen to edge up their respective championship tables.

Paige Lindenberg will be back in Class D Saloon Car action aboard her monster Ford Fairlane at the 3rd Historic Tour round races. “I head to Red Star lying second in class by only 4 points and in fourth overall by only 7 points in the championship on a track my Fairlane quite likes,” Paige pointed out. “So I hope that come Saturday evening, I’d have improved my championship lot.”

The Venter Ford Escort on-track family feud meanwhile heads to Red star with husband Djurk’s 39 Ford Escort currently lying second in the Historic Endurance Series Index of Performance and leading Class H and third overall in the Endurance Series championship ahead of wife Kirsten’s number 23 Ford Escort that lies 4th in class G and 12th overall in the Saloon car championship. 

“May the best man win,” Djurk teased, only for Kirsten to respond; “That will probably be a woman!”
