Mokoena’s Zwartkops double mission

Paulshof karting kid Kwanda Mokoena heads to Zwartkops Kart Raceway on a double mission again this weekend - he will arrive there in the joint lead of a Northern Regions primary school Mini Rok title chase he wants to leave in complete control of, while he goes there to continue learning and finding pace in high school Junior Max Saturday 3 June.

“I am going out on Saturday to have fun while looking to win in Mini Rok and it also gives me the opportunity to practice in my Junior Max,” the reigning NR Junior Rok champion and current SA Mini Rok title leader admitted. “In Mini Rok, Leyton Fourie and me are tied on points up front but with Jarrod Waberski, Sa’ood Variawa, Ethan Coetzee and Anthony Pretorius all within fighting distance, so that should be a good weekend and we are on top of it so we will be chasing for wins.

“I am also learning all the time in Junior Max although I have been a little out of luck that side, but it doesn’t really matter because it’s a learning year for us there so as long as we progress it will be fine. “I suppose a good dice with my old rivals Jayden Els and Cameron Dias among others will be good so let’s hope that’s the dice in front, but most of all I hope we all have a good, safe weekend at the track and thanks in advance to everyone who will make it possible for me to race once again…
