Durbanville Cape kart racer Jason Coetzee heads to KwaZulu Natal in a confident mood as he continues in his quest to win both the Junior and Senior Max classes in the same meeting Saturday 8 July. Coetzee has won heats in both classes and took Junior Max honours last time out, but he’s still keen todo the overall double at a national meeting too. 

“I’m very excited and both championships are close,” Jason pointed out. “I have also been training hard and building confidence, but it’s not doing to be easy — I am racing against the best Junior and Senior drivers in the country and they are all as hard as nails, so we will try our best and let’s see what happens.

“I have a great team around me — my parents, my team Kohen and Henry Bam and of course Etienne Roos and the RKT team, so we will be best prepared - bring it on!” Follow the iDube SA National Karting races on live streaming through www.kart.co.za all day from around 10 am 8 July.
