South African Junior Max karting champion Sebastian Boyd continued in his preparations for the World Finals in that class with a splendid performance to end up a stellar fourth in the Super Rok International Karting Finals at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Italy over the weekend, as he ended up the best placed of the 16 South African drivers competing. Camps Bay, Cape Town kid Boyd who was on the pace throughout the weekend to add to his third in the Italian Autumn Trophy over the previous weekend.

“Wow, that was an amazing weekend,” SACS College Grade 8 scholar Sebastian admitted. “We were competitive throughout the weekend - my kart was brilliant and I was able to concentrate on keeping on the pace and out of trouble - fourth in the world - I am so proud to have represented South Africa like that!
