Stuwie ready to strike at Kyalami

Bloemfontein teenager Stuart White returns home to chase down second place in the 2017 Investchem Formula 1600 championship at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit following a successful sojourn in the French Formula 4 championship this year.

White won his first Formula 1600 race at Zwartkops earlier in the season and also won his first race overseas this season and in spite of missing four races through date clashes with the French series that raced on among the world’s most famous racetracks, he wants nothing less than a win to close off his local season.

“We are very exited to race at Kyalami,” Stuwie owned up. “What an awesome track and then to be able to race again in the Investchem 1600  … with all the South African drivers and friends again — we really miss all our racing friends back home when we are in Europe!” White needs just two points to wrap up second position in the SA championship in spite of missing those four races…

“We have had a very good season overall and it would be great to finish off with a win - it’s not easy to beat SA champion Julian van der Watt, but we will give it our best shot — bring it on!
