Visser brothers ready for WP kart action

Durbanville’s Visser karting brothers are ready to race in the second round of the Western Province Karting Championships at Killarney Saturday 3 March. Both Kyle and Charl were blindingly quick last time out, with Kyle storming to a dominant overall Mini Rok win and third in Mini Max, while older brother Charl endured a frustrating weekend ruined by a technicality on his kart, but both are keen on a step forward this weekend.

“I had an excellent day on my Charl Electric Zanardi in Mini Rok, but there is room for improvement in Mini Max” Kyle admitted. “My race engineer Zefrey Ngoben, my dad and I have been working hard on both karts so I hope to keep ahead in Rok and move forward in Max where I have to deal with Michael Fernandez and Joaquin de Oliveira, but may the best man win.”

Elder brother Charl was also dominant in Junior Max last time out in spite of a kart issue. “I know I have the pace, so it’s just a matter of doing more of what I did last time out,” Charl explained. “Special thanks to my dad and Zefrey — we all suffered together and I plan to make us all happy again but, we must also prepare for the first national at iDube in March because we have a very competitive field with ten or 12 guys who can win there and we need to be ready for that too.”
