Both Q4 Fuels Husqvarna Racing riders will arrive in Pietermaritzburg’s fifth round races carrying TRP South African National Motocross championship leaders’ red plates on Saturday 10 August. Open class MX1 rider Maddy Malan and 65cc Junior racer Neil van der Vyver have taken a firm grip on their championship chases and both are fully intent to continue building up those advantages in ‘Maritzburg.

The KwaZulu Natal races are Maddy Malan’s home round and Maddy plans to thrill his fans with another top performance. “We have all put a huge amount of work into this year’s effort and I plan to reward my Q4 Fuels Husqvarna team for everything and my home fans for the support,” Maddy explained. “Where better to do that than in ‘Maritzburg — see you at the motocross!"

Q4 Fuels Husqvarna 65cc Junior hero Neil van der Vyver has enjoyed a near perfect season with three double moto wins in four meetings so far in 2019 and the Cape Town youngster can’t wait to get to grips with the tough Pietermaritzburg motocross track. “I've had a great season so far,” Neil owned up. “Now I hope for more of the same in KZN, where the plan is to keep this momentum rolling!"
