SA rally raid carmaker appoints European logistics partner

Kyalami-based international rally raid race car manufacturer, Red-Lined Motorsport has appointed European based rally raid service and logistics experts Desert Foxx Racing as an official distributor and service provider. This new partnership will provide Red-Lined Motorsport’s ever growing international customer base with the best possible ‘arrive and drive’ packages when it comes to rally raid event preparation, support and logistics.

“We are delighted to confirm that we have appointed top rally raid service providers Desert Foxx Racing as an official distributor of our products and services,” Red-Lined Motorsport CEO Terence Marsh confirmed. “At Red-Lined we specialise in designing, manufacturing and developing tough, reliable and dependable T1 rally raid racing cars, and we were looking for a leading service and logistics partner to provide our international customers with world class event support and infrastructure. “It really is a natural fit where our combined strengths provide a comprehensive offering for our privateer and semi-professional customer base.”

Founded by Wouter Tyberghien in 2010, Desert Foxx Racing has become one of the leading rally raid service, support and logistics providers in the world today. With over twelve years of expedition experience straddling the globe using a fleet of top-class assistance trucks and infrastructure, the company focuses on providing customers with next level ‘arrive and drive’ service packages. Over the years Desert Foxx has assisted rally raid teams across the globe in events such as the Morocco and Tunisia Desert Challenges, the Africa Eco Race as well as many other international events.

"Red-Lined Motorsport is the perfect manufacturing partner for us as we embark on our journey to deliver the best possible rally raid service and assistance available to the market!” Wouter Tyberghien explained. “Fast, rugged and extremely reliable, Red-Lined race cars have become increasingly popular with international businessmen and semi-professional privateer crews and we will now be in a position to provide them with the perfect service and support package for major rally aid events around the world.”

Desert Foxx will now not only be handling the importation of the Red-Lined products but will also be offering a full event support and logistics service thereafter, from sales through to race preparation and race entries, transport and accommodation bookings as well as overseeing documentation and scrutineering at events.

Desert Foxx will then take care of all the customers bivouac needs, from daily race car maintenance, service and repair, to all the necessary catering and team support. That spreads from accommodation in luxury tents to a daily laundry service and satisfying all culinary and refreshment requirements with healthy food and drink. And whatever else the race crew may want or need in the service park throughout a multi-day rally raid event.

“We have always admired how Desert Foxx has operated at international rally raid events over the years,” Terence Marsh added. “So, when the opportunity presented itself to join forces with Wouter as he sought to establish a new manufacturer partnership, it really was a no brainer for us. “We currently have over forty Red-Lined cars based in sixteen countries across the world with distribution networks also set up in China and the UAE. “Both our existing and future customers can now call on Desert Foxx for world class event management and support packages.

“Desert Foxx has a wealth of experience and top-class infrastructure. “Wouter and his team can offer our customers a turnkey solution, from selling and distributing new and used Red-Lined VK50, VK56, REVO and REVO+ race cars, to preparing and servicing, caring for and storing them, and thereafter full race logistics, back-up and support packages. “This certainly is an ideal collaboration!"
