Mokoena Tames Extreme Audi at Zwartkops

Kwanda Mokoena enjoyed a great weekend at the races as he stepped up to drive an Audi R8 LMS GT4 in Saturday’s National Extreme Festival at Zwartkops. Young Mokoena impressed in his first G+H Extreme Supercar outing and now he cannot wait for more.

“I did what I set out to do this weekend,” Kyalami kid Kwanda explained. “The idea was for me to get used to the car, to keep my cool and to bring my Amandla Coal Into Africa Audi R8 LMS GT4 home in one piece. “I’m happy to admit that I outdid myself and thoroughly enjoyed each and every lap as I learnt so many valuable insights to my new car. “I must also salute my MJR team for its professionalism in helping me understand, set up and get to grips with the car.

"I so enjoyed every minute in the GT paddock and would like to thank my fellow competitors for accepting me and for the awesome camaraderie. “They made me feel right at home as the new rookie and youngest competitor in the class. "I must also thank my sponsors and my parents for all the support. “Now we look forward to the next race in Gqeberha next month. “Can’t wait.”
