The G+H Extreme Supercars are all set for East London

All eyes will be on South Africa’s fastest racing Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and more, when the sixth round South African National GT3 G+H Transport Extreme Supercars heads to the high-speed East London Grand Prix Circuit on Saturday 6 August.

It’s all been about Charl Arangies’ Stradale Into Africa Audi R8 LMS GT3 and his battle with Jonathan du Toit’s Trans Africa Racing Lamborghini Huracan up front in the unlimited Class A+ over the past few rounds. That could however all change with the return of some super-fast machinery and the arrival of a few thrilling new cars as the series heads to its slot on the Border National Extreme Festival program.

Franco Scribante for instance returns with his big Turbo 911 Porsche, while another 2022 race winner, Dayne Angel is expected to make the trip up from Cape Town with his similar Autohaus Angel machine. It’s just as exciting in the balance of performance MSA National GT3 Sprint class, where ever-consistent overall G+A Extreme Supercar championship leader Greg Parton’s Drizit Lamborghini Huracan will have Nicky Dicks and Ant Blunden’s new Porsche 991.2 Cup cars there to deal with.

That over and above old rivals, Ricky Giannoccaro’s G+H Transport Lamborghini Gallardo Trofeo and Mark du Toit’s Trans Africa Ferrari 430 GT3. Never mind Marius Jackson’s MJR Audi R8 GT3 LMS and Gianni Giannoccaro’s G+H Transport Nissan GT-R GT3. That will be a most interesting race all on its own. Loureiro brothers Rick and Paulo’s turbo BMWs will have their work cut out to stay ahead of the normally aspirated Trofeo and Cup cars in the thick coastal air.

So, expect another great scrap between them, young gun Kwanda Mokoena’s Amandla Coal MJR Audi R8 GT4 and old hands, Jimmy Giannoccaro’s Lamborghini Trofeo, Uli Sanne’s BMW Z3M and PE driver Ian Riddle and Capetonian Mansoor Parker’s BMW e46 Turbos. Damian Hammond is meanwhile working to get his Trinity Security Lamborghini Trofeo ready in time for the Grand Prix Circuit races, as are, Ben Morgenrood’s BMG Lexus V8 and Richard Pott and his turbo Lotus.

The epic G+H Transport Extreme Supercars will race as part of the East London’s National Extreme Festival program at the classic, superfast Grand Prix Circuit on Saturday 6 August. That can only be a spectacular sight to behold!
