De Klerk, Roets chasing Bronkhorstspruit silverware

The TreasuryONE Racing Amarok has buffed out nicely from its crunching Leniesdeel 300 Inland Off Road victory last time out and crew Hennie de Klerk and Adriaan Roets are all geed up and ready to race the Rally Raid Bronkhorstspruit on 19 and 20 August. And being Pretoria pair de Klerk and Roets’ home race, the team will be out to impress in the third round 2022 South African Rally Raid Championship race, just down the road from TreasuryONE headquarters.

“"Our team McGuyver, aka Tjaart vd Walt from Prep Shop has some pressure to turn the TreasuryONE Amarok around in just two weeks since our dramatic Leniesdeel victory, but it all buffed out nice and we are ready to race the Bronkhorstspruit national,” Hennie de Klerk pointed out. “This is a pretty big race with a huge entry including all the local regulars and a healthy contingent of international crews and cars we know from the Dakar, but the Amarok is ready, Adriaan and I are ready and we are out to collect some trophies!"

TreasuryONE Racing and WCT Engineering are meanwhile flat out to get FIA T1+ class TreasuryONE Toyota Hilux prototype ready to later in the season with a view to a full 2023 campaign ahead of a return to Dakar in 2024 for that race's 2018 rookie winner de Klerk.
