Duminy wants amends at Vereeniging

NOTE - the 4 March Vereeniging Northern Regions Karting races have been postponed until further notice

Durban karter Daniel Duminy is looking forward to making a lasting impression at the weekend’s second round Northern Regions karting championship in Vereeniging. Duminy had a strong weekend last time out at Zwartkops, but an exploded battery cost him an overall win.

“The last race was tough” Daniel explained. “I had a pole position, a race win and a second, but the problem while I was leading cost me the overall win for the day, so I hope this weekend will bring a little luck to help me to an overall win. “Either way, it should be a great weekend’s racing and I’m looking forward to continuing my dices with Cameron O’Connor — may the best man win!”

Daniel has a very busy month coming up, with the regional on the fourth, the opening round of the SA National Karting championship on Monday 20 March again in Vereeniging and the first round of the Engen VW Polo Cup, where Duminy starts his second season on the main circuit Saturday 25 March.
