Duminy wants amends at Vereeniging
Durban karter Daniel Duminy is looking forward to making a lasting impression at this weekend’s second round Northern Regions karting championship in Vereeniging. Duminy had a strong weekend last time out at Zwartkops, but an exploded battery cost him an overall win and then he's had two tough days at the recent national karting and Polo Cup race.
“The last regional was tough, but I also have to make up for a pretty disappointing past week” Daniel explained. “I had a pole position, a race win and a second at Zwartkops, but the problem while I was leading cost me the overall win for the day, so I hope this weekend will bring a little luck to help me to an overall win."
Daniel ends a very busy fortnight following the Vereeniging national and the first round of the Engen VW Polo Cup last week. "It should be a great weekend’s racing and I’m looking forward to continuing my dices with Cameron O’Connor — may the best man win!”
