Charl, Kyle keen on Killarney success

Visser brothers Charl and Kyle are looking forward to returning home to race at Killarney’s 6th round WP kart meeting Saturday 12 August after a hectic schedule around the country and the world over the past month. Charl is back to Junior Max action following his recent duties representing South Africa at the CIK-FIA Academy Trophy in Finland, while Kyle returns after clinching the SA Under-10 Mini Rok championship in Vereeniging last weekend.

“I’m really looking forward to racing at home at Killarney after a lot of travelling and racing out of hotel rooms,” Charl grinned. “This weekend is important because some of the points we score go towards the SA Junior Max championship, where I’m in second place and we are also doing well in the WP championship. “I am going to use all I have learned this weekend and hopefully it rains, because I have had lots of practice in the wet overseas too!”

Younger brother Kyle is also in high spirits following his recent championship winning away races. “I’m back in Maxterino this weekend and I want to score as well as I can,” Kyle promised. “The championships are all very close so every point counts - I can’t wait to race and I am hungry to win. “Let’s do this!”
