Seb chasing a Killarney kart benchmark

Cape Town karter Sebastian Boyd is looking forward to double duty at the sixth round Western Cape Karting Championship races at Killarney Kart Track Saturday 12 August. Boyd returns to high school Junior Max action where he is chasing points to bolster his national championship chase in that class, but he’s also looking forward to another weekend aboard his fast DVS kart.

“We are well up in the Junior Max nationals and two of Saturday’s races will contribute to our national points tally so they will be very important in a closely fought national championship come the end of the year,” Sebastian pointed out. “I’ve had a good run in the Cape class lately and I am keen to keep that ball rolling.

“I think the DVS races will be a bit more fun though — there’s no championship pressure there and everyone wants to be the first driver to lap one of those karts around Killarney in under 40 seconds in a race, so bring it on — I want to be the one to have that honour!”
