Jason ready for Pretoria SA Kart Finals

It's crunch time for Cape Town kart racer Jason Coetzee, who heads up to Pretoria for the South African Zwartkops Rotax Max Challenge Karting Finals right in the thick of the championship action in both the DD2 and Senior Max classes. Coetzee sits second in an ultra tight Senior Max title fight and sixth in the premier DD2 gearbox class, where he is in the centre of a multi-kart fight for third  with seasoned DD2 racers the likes of multiple South African and world champions.

“I can’t wait for Zwartkops,” Jason admitted. “We have four races there in each class and we have to drop our three worst championship scores through the year, so anything can happen! “We’ve had a little bad luck in Senior Max, but I love Zwartkops — I won both my SA championships there, so I look forward to fighting for another and I'm sure the guys will give me the best kart as usual and I won’t be taking any prisoners in Pretoria.

“DD2 is going to be wild — I am the best placed rookie in that chase in sixth, but there’s every chance of major drama between some of the guys up front there, so the plan is to keep my nose clean, keep out of trouble and bring home maximum points — who knows where that will take me in the final title tally? “Thanks in advance to the team and everyone else in my corner — I can't wait to get racing — bring it on!”
