Kyalami kid Kwanda Mokoena takes a break from his Amandla Coal MJR Audi RA LMS GT4 main circuit racing program to return to his karting roots at the weekend’s Rok Karting finals at Zwartkops in Pretoria. Double SA Endurance Series race winner and Class C leader Kwanda will race in the KZ class on his karting return.

“I’m returning to my first racing love this weekend,” former SA Mini Rok, African Open and multiple karting champion Kwanda smiled. “I will be reunited with my old karting team Squadra Corse as a wildcard entry in the weekend’s Rok Cup South Africa KZ Finals at Zwartkops.

“Karting is also a great way to prepare for my final few GT races of the season and I just cannot wait to be back out there with my old team behind me and I will be racing against a few of my good old karting buddies, so it should be a rat weekend all-round. “Bring it on!”
