Alibhai back to Britain for second half of F4 championship

South African lad Aqil Alibhai heads back to Blighty for the second half of the prestigious FIA British F4 championship starting at Croft this 29 and 30 June weekend. Alibhai has enjoyed a great start to his rookie season in single seaters and the Johannesburg youngster cannot wait to get back aboard his Virtuosi Racing Tatuus.

“I have had a great break back home, recharged my batteries and I am ready to race again,” Aqil confirmed. “We’ve had a great first half which included my first British F4 race win. But we have also had our fair share of drama, so let’s hope that we can continue with the pace we had, but with a little less trouble in the second half!

“We start at tight and twisty Croft in North Yorkshire this weekend. It’s a challenging racetrack with a bit of everything. The objective is to qualify well for Croft and each of the following rounds, to be sure that we are in the best position to attack in the races. It’s not always that simple, but every time we have qualified well, it has brought good results.

“For the rest, I’m looking forward to working with my Virtuosi team again and I really can’t wait to race, and do my family, friends, backers, and fans, especially everyone who is following me back home, proud. Now for Croft. Let’s do this!”
