Kyalami GT race driver Kwanda Mokoena heads to Spielberg this coming weekend anticipating a tick-up in fortune, following a few trying ADAC GT Masters rounds. 

Racing his Amandla Coal Fields Haupt Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 alongside German fellow young gun Max Reis, the duo is keen to impress at the Austrian races. “The last meeting was a bit of a challenge that ended up in a great result for me personally,” Kwanda reflected. 

“Unfortunately Max had a bit of a crash in the wet on  Friday at Spa, but our Haupt team did wonders to get the car ready for qualifying and we were in at the deep end. But we pulled through and I was very happy with my own weekend.

“So we are certainly holding out for a better outcome at Red Bull Ring, where Max and I plan to do our Haupt Racing family proud in our blue AMG GT3. It’s another classic driver’s circuit with more unpredictable weather. Perfect! I can’t wait!”
