Established as the Historic Racing Car Register in 1973, Historic Racing South Africa aims to preserve and race the cars of yesteryear. Many original members continue to compete and support the club, as the association strives to keep the HRSA’s classes popular and ensure that they long entertain local race fans. The HRSA’s classes, Ben Morgenrood Historic Production & GT Cars, and the Ben Morgenrood Historic Pursuit Racing Series attract strong fields of cars racing to FIA guidelines and holding an Historical Technical Passport.
