Lee Thompson Racing is a professional motorsport equipe running four cars in the 2017 Gauteng Volkswagen Challenge championship and a car each in the GTC Production and Polo Cup championships.
Run by experienced race driver and motorsportsman Lee Thompson, the team runs three cars in the top Class A of the series - veteran Iain Pepper in the blue Campos Transport/Alpine Motors LTR Polo and Waldie Meintjies' similar silver LTR machine and Wayne Crous, as well as a Class C Polo Vivos for younger Crous brother, Shane.
LTR further runs Charl Smallberger's GTC2 VW Golf GTi and Mauritian Simon Need's Polo in the Volkswagen Cup in the national Extreme Festival.
