The South African Motor Clubs Association hosts the annual Angela’s Picnic at raises funds for Hospice Wits to assist with the palliative care of  cancer afflicted patients every year. Open to all classes of classic, vintage, veteran, and modern cars, the only proviso is that owners make a donation at the entrance.

Established by the enigmatic late classic car fan extraordinaire Angela Heinz in 1983, the picnic has been an annual petrol head attraction ever since. Often copied but never bettered, SAMCA’s Angela’s Picnic is a fine opportunity for car fans and the public at large to see, discuss and enjoy, a vast array of notable motor cars in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, chat with owners and renew connections with friends and fellow enthusiasts.
