Nine races, four wins for Jason Coetzee
The fifth round of the Western Province Karting Championships at Killarney on Saturday proved a busy one for Durbanville lad Jason Coetzee, who drove nine races through the day winning no less than four of them on the way.
Coetzee tightened his grip on the WP high school Junior Max championship with three straight wins on the trot, took the final Senior Max win off Luke Herring and raced in the inaugural DVS class too. “Yeah, it was quite a busy day,” Jason laughed. “But I held on to finish every race, happily four of them in front!
“I am very happy with my fitness and my team made a brilliant job getting every kart right for every race. “I would like to thank Henry Bam senior for all the hard work and my mechanics for all the hard work they put into my three RKT Kosmic karts and my family as usual — I really could not do what I so love without them.”
