Kyalami race driver Kwanda Mokoena is readying himself for his first stab at the daunting Spa Francorchamps as the ADAC GT Masters returns from its summer break this 31 August and 1 September weekend. Mokoena shares his Amandla Coal Fields Haupt Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 with German Max Reis, and the two youngsters are looking forward to a positive second half of the season.

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend as it’s my first outing at Spa,” Kwanda explains. “It’s going to be tricky because I’ve never raced there before. I tested there a few weeks ago, but it was wet so I was unable to experience the famous Eau Rouge and the rest of those corners in their full glory. It’s a big learning curve for me.
