Cameron keen to keep up winning ways
Bedfordview kart star Cameron O’Connor has the wind behind him as he heads to this weekend’s Vereeniging Northern Regions second round races this Saturday 1 April following an exceptional start to the new season.
“I will be racing Senior Max again this weekend,” Cameron confirmed. O’Connor also had a positive weekend in last weekend's Vereeniging Karting national as well as a positive Investchem Formula 1600 debut on the main circuit this past Saturday, but he’s now ready for the Vereeniging regional karting challenge
“We had a great start to the regional kart championship and I’m looking forward to making the best of it again this weekend - I have some pretty hot opposition and we should have a few good dices again, so bring it on!”
Cameron had a positive first outing in Formula 1600 last weekend. "We had a few challenges through the weekend but the races were solid, although we need to find the kind of pace we had in the practice sessions in the races and I'm looking forward to making that happen at Kyalami in April,”
