Duminy keen to get to grips with GTC challenge
Ballito lad Daniel Duminy is looking forward to his first Global Touring Car outing at among his favourite racetracks at Killarney Saturday 11 May. The young man has encountered a challenge or two since he took a giant leap into his SMD Racing BMW this year, but he is fully up to the challenge of the Cape Town race.
“I took a bit of a leap of faith to jump straight into GTC,” Daniel admitted. “Added to that, we have had a few extra challenges along the way, but I am learning every minute of the way and we have done some work to find a bit more pace before we head to Killarney for round 3.
"I really enjoy the Cape Town track and I have enjoyed quick times and results there in the past and I know I can rely on my great team for a good car, so we're looking forward to a good step forward this weekend…
