With a maximum of 22 points on the table, only three drivers arrive at Killarney on Saturday 19 November with a chance of taking the 2022 Alert Engine Parts WP GTi Challenge championship. All three of those men are also already crowned as the series class champions.

Class A leader Jurie Swart tops the overall table aboard his Summit Racing Polo 6R, 17 points clear of top Class B lad Tate Bishop’s Angri Racing Academy Jetta 2. Class C champion Chase Herholdt and his Unlimited Auto NDT Golf 1 GTi needs both his rivals not to star, to have a chance of that top spot.

Swart may have tied up the A title, but the top class second is still there for the taking. That’s between Marco Busi’s Automan and IPP lad Colin Meder’s similar Polo 6R, Nathan Victor’s Summit Polo sits fourth ahead of Kai van Zyl’s Unlimited car, but keep an eye on Charl Visser, Dillon Joubert’s Powder Coating World Polo and Schalk Geldenhuys’ G+A car too.

It's even closer for second behind Bishop in Class B. Just a handful of points separate Kyle Wiltshire’s Summit Polo Classic and Ian Kapp’s Hydracor Polo 6R. Behind them, Marc Thompson and John-Henri Vaughan’s Polo Classics and Byron Mitchell’s Golf 1 have Young Kyle Visser out for more, after the 15-year old tasted victory last time out.

Dylan van Eden has already clinched the Brat Pack second behind Chase Herholdt in his Ruthnarue car in the all Golf 1 GTi Class C. But third is all to play for with Seth van de Abeel’s Summit car, Veldt Reared Matthew Rowe, Ryan van Eden in chase.
