UB Leisure TFC Sleepover Honda Wing Racing with Tork Craft and Dunlop Tyres wrapped up its 2024 racing season by adding a couple of GXCC Gauteng Cross Country Motorcycle Championship to its bittersweet season at a rough, tough, muddy and dusty Fochville over the weekend.

“UB Leisure TFC Sleepover Honda Wing Racing celebrates two new champions after another highly successful GXCC outing at Fochville on Saturday and I’m delighted to congratulate our Senior team leader Louwrens Mahoney and young High School 125cc standout Nathan Westerdale on their well-earned championships,” team boss Harry Grobler confirmed. 

“I must also congratulate Beau Levey on winning Seniors to steal third in that championship and make it a 1-3 with Louwrens today.  Never mind, well done to Hayden Louw on a fine second overall, and second in OR1 aboard his Honda CRF 450 RX on Saturday, which brought him fifth in the open class championship despite sitting out two GXCC rounds through the season. That win is not far away lad!  

“Tyron Beverley rode home a fine third OR3 on his UB Leisure TFC Sleepover Honda Wing CRF 250 RX today to clinch third in that championship chase. And Little Ruald Potgieter also starred in Fochville, he was third in today’s race as he came home sixth in the championship. So all round, Saturday was a very good day at the races!
