Four Red-Lined Motorsport REVO+ racers going well

Red-Lined Motorsport has reached some its objectives with four of its amateur customer teams still running strong as Dakar 2025 sets off on its second week of racing on Saturday, following Friday’s rest day in Ha’il.

“The first six days of Dakar 2025 have been the toughest we can recall in many years,” Red-Lined CEO Terence Marsh explains. “It’s been extremely rocky and the toughest opening week most can remember, never mind the most punctures and so many big name retirements too. “So we’re really proud of our Red-Lined T1+ gentlemen crews’ brilliant efforts and to have four cars still running strong into the second week of this cauldron of the Dakar.”

Despite a tough prologue, Dutch duo Ronald van Loon and Erik Lemmen enjoyed a solid week to emerge best of the Red-Lined crews in an encouraging 26th overall in the Ultimate class at the midway rest day in their OASE Motorsport REVO T1+. Seychellois lass Aliyyah Koloc impressed beyond her tender years with a solid run to 36th overall after losing more than 3 hours on stage 5 alongside French navigator Sebastien Delaunay in her Buggyra Racing REVO T1+

Belgian amateur racer, Stefan Carmans and Dutchman Aryan van Tiel enjoyed a great run albeit also been hampered by a tough day on stage 5 to leave Ha’il in 47th overall among the Ultimate field in their CSA Racing REVO T1+. Amateur Dutch couple Dave and Tessa Klaassen shook off a demanding third stage to emerge 51st overall midway in their DaklaPack Rallysport REVO T1+ with a fine showing to end best of the Red-Lined entries in Thursday’s stage 5.

With a week still to run, the survivors now face an even tougher task as fatigue and exhaustion set in over and above the rigours of the race itself. “ We have seen this movie often before and our Red-Lined team is fully prepared to continue supporting our customer teams through the world's toughest motorsport test,” Terence Marsh concluded. “One stage at a time and one day at a time is how we will continue our focus into this second week!”
