South Africa’s favourite tool and accessory brand, Tork Craft has released a variety of new tools to further ease any tradesman’s task. Ranging from Precision Screwdrivers to Slogging Spanners, a Nylon Mallet and Tin Snips, there’s also a new pair of Race Gloves. Other Tork Craft firsts include an expanded Wire Brush range, new Oscillating Drywall Blades, Colour Paint Marker Pens and a new and improved Range Finder.

Now sold separately in various tips and sizes, Tork Craft’s Precision Screwdrivers are also available in convenient seven and fourteen piece variety sets. Ergonomically designed, the screwdrivers boast CRV blades and black magnetic precision tips in in a variety of sizes each of Slotted, Spline, Phillips, and Hex heads.

Tork Craft’s new hammer-ready heavy duty chrome vanadium Slogging Spanners come in a wide range from 24 to 85 mm in both open and robust 12-point ring end tools. Custom made for automotive, construction, engineering, manufacturing and DIY use, these spanners feature an anti-slip design and enable the use of great force in tight working spaces.

Tork Craft’s new 35mm Nylon Mallet has an interchangeable safety fastened epoxy resin head and a similarly endowed PP coated fibreglass handle with a shock absorbing TPR grip. The easily replaceable head takes the choice of 35 mm nylon, copper, or brass striking pads to comfortably take on any hammering task.

Tork Craft’s new Left & Straight Cut, Right & Straight Cut, and Straight & Shape Cut Tin Snips come with micro serrated 56-62HRC hardness blades, a sprung ergonomic long rubber handle grip for a greater cutting force. Featuring a handle lock and anti-slip guard, these versatile snips are ideal for any precise straight or curved hand cutting application, from automotive repair to aviation fabrication.

Cutting sheet metal can leave sharp edges and burrs, for which Tork Craft recommends the use of anti-cut gloves for optimal protection. To that end, Tork Craft has released a cool pair of limited edition orange Racing Mechanic’s Gloves. Bright and comfy with a hook & loop closure, the lightweight palm reinforced neoprene & mesh construction gloves bring good wear resistance and come in all sizes to protect any size hands.

Tork Craft has also added a new 125 mm wheel to its range of crimped brass coated wire brushes. Custom made for light duty cleaning, paint and rust removal, these brushes are brass coated for an extended working lifetime. Now available in the new 125 mm brush and the existing 150 and 200 mm versions, the wheels are suitable for machines rotating at up to 4500 rpm.

Tork Craft’s new 80 and 32 mm Quick Change Oscillating Drywall Blades are perfect to execute pull and push cutting edges on PVC, wood, drywall, and fibre boards. Featuring universal arbors and rust resistant quick change blades, the 80 mm cutting length 19 TPI blade has smooth dual cutting and plunge edges. The 32 mm version has a 10mm step offset from its arbor mount and 42mm pull and 17mm Push hook blade curves.

Tork Craft’s new Colour Paint Marker Pens come in three new orange, green and purple colours over and above the existing red, yellow, white, black, and blue. Robust and ready to write on anything the tradesman must mark up from metal to stone and wood, to glass, plastic, rubber and leather, the different colours help perfectly plan any complex job.

Among Tork Craft’s cooler new tool releases, its latest fast measuring 600 meter Rangefinder now comes with a slope feature. USB rechargeable for continuous use, it features a target lock, trajectory compensation, speed, and calculates between distance and vertical angle at up to 20 degrees. It has a 6-times fixed focal length range HD lens and a 7 degree view angle. A magnetic side strip support enhances stability, and the device comes with its own pouch.
