Cameron keen to keep up winning ways

NOTE - the 4 March Vereeniging Northern Regions Karting races have been postponed until further notice

Bedfordview kart star Cameron O’Connor has the wind behind him as he heads to this weekend’s Vereeniging Northern Regions second round races this Saturday 4 March following an exceptional start to the new season.

“I will be racing Senior Max again this weekend,” Cameron confirmed. O’Connor also had a positive weekend in the inaugural MSA Academy class this past weekend, winning a couple of races en route to second overall, but he’s now ready for Saturday’s challenge “We had a great start in Senior last time out and I’m looking forward to making the best of it again this weekend - I have some pretty hot opposition and we should have a few good dices again, so bring it on!”

Cameron is also looking forward to the challenge of racing in the Investchem South African Formula Ford championship this season following a victorious first outing in a single seater in a Formula Monoposto race at Midvaal a few weeks ago. "I'm looking forward to a busy year's racing and I can't wait for the first Formula Ford race at Killarney, but first we have regional and a national kart races to focus on at Vereeniging. "I can't wait for any of it!”
