Rademeyer makes Junior Max his own
Saturday’s second round Northern Regions Karting Championship at Vereeniging’s Laserfiche Raceway was hot in every respect — from the sweltering Highveld afternoon to some scintillating on-track action, but not many racers were quite as hot as Blaine Rademeyer, who quite simply made the high school Junior Max class his own.
“That was a hot day in the sun!” Blaine pointed out. “I had a hot day at the races too — it was a great weekend really. “I qualified on pole position and I won all three races — it does not come much better than that! “I need to thank my grandfather Fred and my guru Ricky Perdigao for giving me a perfect FA Kart for the day — that always makes it so much easier!
“Now we start preparing for Cape Town — I am really looking forward to the national down there. "Ricky is a Killarney Kart track expert and we will be going down early — the locals there are very quick so this one is not going to be easy, but to beat them at home will be sweet revenge after they had such a good weekend here last time out. “Bring it on!”
