Rademeyer intent on Killarney win
Johannesburg Junior Max kart star Blaine Rademeyer is hell-bent on coming back from Cape Town with the winners trophy in hand, in spite of the odds being stacked against him at Killarney Saturday 29 April.
“Things never quite went our way at the opening national at Vereeniging,” Blaine admitted. “But we had a great run in the last regionals there and we went to Killarney to prepare in the holidays and we were very happy with my pace, so we are really looking forward to making up in the second round of the nationals there this weekend.
“It would be great to win in Cape Town — not only to revenge the Cape kids closing off the podium at Vereeniging, but to also get my championship properly back on track, but it’s also important to keep an open mind because those guys are quick, especially at home, so it would be special to pull it off. “May the best man (or lady) win — bring it on!”
